Im wondering if the VDH incentives will get any better next month. If so, modifying my purchase and adding more points there could be an option instead of resale. My split is FW 138 pts, 2nd contract 62 pts. Adding a 3rd contract could give me more leeway in future for selling 1 contract and still retaining my blue card. Decisions.

I would just say something like, “I know this is a low offer, but there are over 100 AUL contracts on the market and I am looking for a seller who wants to get their points sold and move on. I understand if this is not your seller, but I wanted to at least make the offer and give them the opportunity to say “no” before I move on to another contract.”

So tempting.!! I like this schpeel for all my offers.
Give the broker the option to find one for you, they may know of someone willing to negotiate.

That would be a dream. That TOT is such a hard one to stomach for sure.

Oh no for sure not through Disney, not even the DVC guy giving us the exchange info could sell himself on selling us cruises as a swap Through a 3rd party like the Board Sponsor or Davids.

But I think I have to show major restraint and wait for the fall incentive release since I still have the ability to cancel/modify my direct purchase. A smart person with more will power than I would actually wait til early November when they release the new dues for 2025 to decide what and where to buy.

I think in 10 years they will have one or two more DVCs around Disneyland and they will all have the ToT. It will also make direct points more rentable.

Yep. With 200 points I cant let any of them go for a cruise swap but 300 I could let some go and not effect our vacations with the whole family. My stay in February at VDH for 3 nights is a whopping 174 pts!

Where do you expect they would be able to put any more DVC around Disneyland? I suppose they could do something further away and provide busses. I wouldn't be opposed to that if they ran regularly and the points were lower than those in easy walking distance.

I’m still hoping for a hotel inside/adjacent to Tomorrrowland but I’m not expecting one, or I wouldn’t have paid over $200/pt for VGC.

Yeah, whatever is new (especially if it’s in a park!) is going to make VGC look like BWV (for actual cost per night) by comparison— lower dues, no TOT, less punitive point chart.
