How good is your local Santa?

Ours is great...real beard...real bowl of jelly type gut. He's been doing Santa at our mall for years.

I've also seen others that are just awful...kinda like the one in "Elf".

Do you have a good Santa? Or is your helper kinda helpless?

Our local mall has had the same Santa for many, many years
Full white beard and Belly and tiny glasses

We all LOVE him :goodvibes

We drive about 15 miles out of the way to get to the "good" Santa at the snob mall. He is great with the kids, has the amazing beard, and has a terrific long coat. He is a little more St. Nick than Santa Claus.

We go to the Santa at the Mall of America. He has been there since the mall opened 11+ years ago. He is far and away the best Santa I have ever encountered! He is authentic (hair, belly, rosy cheeks, etc.), plus he gets down on the floor with the kids, is excellent at making them comfortable (giving high fives and engaging them in conversation) and is just all around a GREAT SANTA! :santa:

BTW--Our Santa works by appointment only. SWEET! NO standing in line for hours on end! Make your appointment online, then show up 10 minutes before your time. FAB-U-LOUS, baby! Santa ROCKS!

Back in the early 90's when we lived near Springfield, MO, we would visit the Santa at Bass Pro Shop. He was so authentic. One year his sleeve went up when he put his arm around my daughter, and she was just fascinated by his tattoo.:lmao: I think Santa was a biker in the off season.:rotfl:

WOW...like the appointment idea. I'd love to see fast pass for Santa too...good training for the kids.

Biker Santa...not so sure about that one.

Fast Pass for Santa? Where's your sense of adventure? ;)

We have a fantastic Santa...of course he IS the REAL one.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,

And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,

And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,

And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;

He had a broad face and a little round belly,

That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

Ours are not that good in this area. As a matter of fact, when DD was about 3 she figured out that the ones at the mall were just helpers.

Hey! Ours, too! :lmao: I assume you are talking about the same one (Annapolis Mall.) ;)

Yup! LOVE him. We were there Saturday morning. We got in line at about twenty to ten....we were done by ten fifteen.

I was going to post this too. Here is a link to a picture of him--tell me he isn't the REAL Santa http://www.professorbellows.com/santa/ .

I haven't looked this year, but in years past we have had a great one. His beard is real and so is his belly. They usually have it set up like Santa's workshop and he is dressed in green pants and overalls instead of the usual red suit.

We've been seeing the same Santa for years. He has a real beard, and usually wears a flannel shirt with his red jacket hanging close-by so it looks like he's comfortable in his big chair. He's a fantastic Santa! He looks real, sounds real, and is great with the kids. :thumbsup2
