Is Santa still around the day after Christmas? Or alternatively when is the best time to take DD to see Santa in DL or one of the hotels where its not too busy?:santa:

We just saw Santa last monday at the Reindeer Round-Up and the line was very small. This was in the morning maybe around 10:30? I'm not sure if Santa was there first thing when the park opened (at 9) but I bet if you go early the line won't be bad. I don't have any experience with the Santa lines closer to Christmas though so maybe someone else can give you a better idea of how it is at that time.

Santa is gone after Christmas Eve. He does need a break, after all that work delivering gifts!:thumbsup2

That being said, I agree with LavPeach about the Reindeer Roundup Santa. Lines are fairly short and the log cabin decor makes for a nice photo. The Reindeer Roundup Santa also visits the GCH - with a change of suit - into the most beautiful deep burgundy colored one to coordinate with the hotel decor.

We have also seen Santa at the PPH right after coming out of the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at 10am or so.

We have a preference for the GCH Santa, but you could choose pretty much any style or decor for him, as the hotel ones are done in front of their themed trees at GCH (rustic) and PPH (colorful sea). The only one I can't actually tell you about is the DLH one - I'll have to check him out next time down. You can even do Beach Santa at DCA. His lines aren't as long, since he's not traditional.

Isn't Beach Blast Santa gone from DCA this year? I think that was mentioned on Mice Age somewhere.

Correct, there is no Beach Blast Santa this year. It is not clear if this is due to the economy or due to the changes taking place at DCA, but in any case, it's not there this year.
