Hi all,
I just wanted everyone to see the photo taken of the two DD's with our pet. Would that be 3 DD's, 2 daughters 1 dog?? :confused3 :confused3

Caropooh likes having a Santa photo with the animals as they are part of the family.

MickeyGirlsSanta2006sml.jpg

His name is Mickey (we did not name him, but yes he is named for the Big Mouse), and although he usually gets excited around other animals, he was very well behaved. This was done at a local mall, and there were about 15 or so dogs while we were there.

I voted "just animals" even though our dog is in almost all our family photos. I've just never felt the need for her to go sit on Santa's lap. She's not a believer.

We've taken our dog into the mall to be part of a family photo, but never to Santa.

I didn't vote I have no animals!!! But your daughters are adorable!!!

Just saying HI....I sent you the WOODSTOCKS!!!

Merry Christmas, CARO!!!!

Don't listen to her..she's fruit loops

If I thought my cat would go for it then sure. It would just be Santa and the cat though. I have no kids. :rotfl:

i would,, but like myst i'm not sure that cats would behave long enough,,,lol,, plus our youngest is now 14...

I always knew that people from the west coast were weird!!! :rotfl2:

Just kidding...cute picture! :teeth: Obviously I'm kidding since I'm from Oregon. :rolleyes1

I love that picture!!! It is really very cute :)

I voted are you nuts... only because I have two cats. Are you nuts to think I would take my cats out in the cold weather for a picture with Santa? :rotfl:
Otherwise I think it is a cute thing to do :)

I am surprised your mall lets pets in. I don't think we could do that here, maybe Petsmart?

We will be taking a picture, hopefully TODAY, and this is our first year with our dog so she will be in the picture but we will take the picture at home.

Every time I see advertisements for pet portraits with Santa (I think our PetSmart is doing them, too), I wonder if any cat owners successfully accomplish this?

I have two cats and I cannot IMAGINE them sitting still for a picture with some strange man in a brand new environment. They barely sit still when I try to hold them!!!

Um..yeah...I have cats...
Also, I try to avoid going to Petco those days...I've seen too many yellow puddles. ;)

There is no way that my cats would do this sort of thing. When I bring them to the vet, 3 out of the 4 cower and we have to pull them out from under a bench to do the exam. One of them explores the exam room and wants to check out the office, so he might would do ok, however, he doesn't like to be held, so it wouldn't work from that angle.

Too cute!

I would take my cat, but she would hate every second of it. She doesn't like to leave the house. :teeth:

Great picture!
We're going to have our picture taken with Santa and the hell hounds next Sunday at the mall

Caropooh & I used to have a cat, Felix, and we would take Felix to get Santa pictures. The first time we did this was down in California, and the photos were taken at the County Animal Shelter. Needless to say, Felix was very nervous, being around all the other animals, espcially all the dogs, but he kept quiet.

I'm not a dog owner, but I think your pic is adorable!! :goodvibes
