Santa Got Me a DISboarder Weekend to the Mouse!

Don't you just love watching that ticker move closer and closer to the end!! Right now mine's a bit depressing LOL!!

I hope your next two weeks go by fast and then before you know it you'll be at Disney!!!

And so much to do. I swear this is harder than going away with my whole family. I have to pack for myself and basically pack for DD since you know that DH wouldn't be able to pick out matching clothes or find her tap shoes while I'm gone. I really need to start making my lists.

Ugh. Men and their matching. I have to inspect Marc before we leave the house. :rotfl:

How crazy would I look if I wore this shirt? It's just so fitting!!!

Love them both!

Did I know your daughter took tap? So you are officially a Dance Mom! You know I spend almost as much time at our Dance studio as I do on the disboards. Between Eeoyre, Cindy and myself (yes, I started taking classes myself this year. I tap) we take 10 classes a week. During competition season Dance pretty much takes over our life. I keep hoping we'll compete in the Nationals that are held WDW each year. Then I have an excuse to go again. Of course I would probably be angry with how much time the competition would take away from "Disney" time.

Yes, when I leave Dh in charge of the kids for any amount of time I have to leave out outfits and detailed notes. Not sure if it is because I am a control freak or if he really couldn't handle it all himself. They would probably all survive but only Cindy's clothes would match and only Eeoyre's hair would be brushed.

I am a dance mom...tap and ballet. This is her 3rd year. Here's the last two years. Luckily we only have to go on Saturdays right now. Next year she starts jazz too....great more shoes! Our studio goes to Disney every 3 years so I'm still have time to save for that since they went last year. Luckily, she doesn't compete.

I'm sure that DH is capable of doing something on his own but I am a complete control freak so clothes will be laid out, lunches made and in the fridge, and PLENTY of notes reminding him to feed the kitty!!!

I sooo understand!

I sooo understand!

And since you understand...I can complain to you that DD left her tap shoes at the studio last week and they "walked away" at some point after her class. Her teacher pulled me aside and suggested that I monitor her stuff closely since they weren't the first thing to "walk away" if left unattended. Nice huh? So I had to dip into my Disney budget yesterday for new tap shoes :faint:

Are you kidding me? I mean my Cindy loses her socks all the time but never shoes. And usually the sock is still behind a bench or on a chair near where she left it. We haven't had a rash of "walking things". The kids all bring their handheld electronic games and MP3 players and often just leave them in full view. But it is a small studio. The nights that my kids dance are filled with competitive only classes. And since we are small there are maybe 35 competitive dancers from ages 5 to 18. We've all known each other for many years now and perhaps we know each other too well if you get my drift.

I'm hoping that your daughter's shoes just got put into another dancer's bag by mistake. I know we've done that before.

I got the travel documents! Well, they were probably in my mail slot for a while, I just got around to checking it yesterday. . .

Down to just a little over a week left (in my crazy math way!)

About time you checked your mail...I was wondering why you hadn't said you got them. Did everything go well this morning?

Does anyone know how to make a window cling? I was going to make tshirts with this...btw Stacy PM your tshirt size...but I thought a window sign would be fun since half of us are staying at POP

I think I have read that the sell the window cling "paper" at craft stores. You just print on it like you would with a tshirt transfer.
