Santa Got Me a DISboarder Weekend to the Mouse!

I was talking about the makeup part. I usually have a few little bags that they give out at work or that I get at our company store. Let me know what you want in your bag (or 2). I can get free goods Monday and I never spend it all. . .

DH just came home with a late Christmas present for me.:flower3:

He bought me a camera.

I got the Canon Powershot X110 IS.

Yippee! No more fuzzy pictures for me. Of course I have to learn how to use it properly.

Congrats!!!! Great news! You have plenty of time to figure it out before your trip!

If her Birthday is a Saturday, it totally makes sense to go on that day.

I'm curious if you'll be able to get what Paula is talking about. Here's hoping! That would at least make it a bit less confusing. :thumbsup2

No kidding...but I hate to call CRO again and not book. Bottom line, I just wanted the numbers to see if I should fork up the cash to stay at WL since on such a short trip we'd probably spend most of our time at MK OR do we stay at POP for super cheap (it was going to be $288 total for 4 nights) and try to convince DH that we can go AGAIN in 2009 since the bday trip was cheap and I don't need tickets!!!

Free makeup??? How exciting!!! You don't spend your makeup budget? How is that possible? OH I know...you are so naturally beautiful you do not need the assistance of makeup! Me, I have such uneven skin coloring (not to mention the large freckles), I need a team of makeup artists in the morning if I wanted to look "good"

Oooh, the dilemma! Especially since you might be able to eek out two trips if you stay at POP. But being close to MK at the WL is awesome too. Hmmmm. I don't know what I would do in your position.

I'd go with the two trip options myself. Who know maybe they will have another good deal when your second trip comes around and then you can justify upgrading to WL.

I like how you think Diamond!!

I vote for 2 trips too:rotfl2:

You are all a bunch of enablers!!! And you are all forgetting that this would be 3 trips in 2009! That AP is just burning a hole in my pocket!!!! And the 40% off deal is good for MULTIPLE dates in 2009...including almost all of December. Can we say MVMCP??? But I thinking that this is setting DD to think that she might be able to continue to take 2 days trips to WDW in future years.

I vote 3 trips too. I would LOVE to go for MVMCP one year. Next year, I might try to eek out 2 trips one being MVMCP.

For the make up, I could surely look better if I wore more, but I just never have. I am a lip gloss, eyeliner or mascara, and powder girl. Very minimalist. It takes a lot of that stuff to add up to the $75 I get every other month. I usually take orders from friends and family as to what they want. If I don't spend it all at once, I loose it. Sooooo, PM me with your order! And before you try to pay me (I know you too well), I can only gift it, not sell it or I could get fired!

You will notice a big difference in you DD soon. Those pre-teen years start way before the pre-teens. I say go now when she is still young enough to believe in the magic and enjoy dressing up. I wish I had of taken my Cindy earlier.

So true..I see it already and she's only 5!!!! I'm so scared!

You know a Disney trip is fastly approaching when even when your whole family (including the cat) is sick...you can forget about it all to Disney plan ;) :rotfl:

Poor Stacy, I drove her crazy with my 14 emails about food yesterday!!! Although this is probably not the best way to spend our DDP credits, I realized yesterday that on Friday I'll be there by 9am but Stacy won't be there until 3 1/2 hours later. So we won't be eating before dinner. Which means we'll use our 1TS on Friday for Sci-Fi and won't be using any CS. Then Sat we will have CS for lunch at MK and TS for dinner at Kona. Then on Sunday we will use a TS for lunch at Yak and Yeti and will be paying OOP for dinner on the Boardwalk since that is when we are having the official meet. My flight is at 11:30am on Monday right now (still hoping for a DING for the later flight) so ME will be picking me up at 8:30ish. So no time for me to eat on Monday.

SOOOO I figured that we had 2 CS each left over. I suggested eating breakfast on Sat and Sunday. Problem is that I've never eat CS breakfast. I think POP has that fabulous (yet really bad for you) Minnie breakfast pizza from Chef Mickey's so maybe I can get that one day. I was hoping that there is somewhere we can eat at MK on Sat...anyone have any suggestions???

Then I had to ask her about snacks...I take snacks very seriously. :rotfl2:

Now, is it problematic that I looked at the menus, picked what I wanted but I'm torn about appetizers??? Ya, the appetizers that don't come with the meal but I must have because they look so good????

See that is exactly why I can't commit to the dinning plan...I take it all way too serious! I would spend our entire trip planning my meals...really I would...the ENTIRE TRIP! I can't do it...it would drive everyone nuts. Plus...with my kids...they just don't eat enought to justify it.

We ate breakfast at POP for two mornings I think...nothing was bad that we had. I loved my fruit parfait mostly. yummy!

Ya, it's part of my planning compulsion....And I rarely change from what I originally pick when I look at the menu. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

And you are right, it's not really a value...but I like the convenience of it. I'm actually going to have to develop a food budget for our Oct trip. UGGG :headache:

I'm right there with you obsessing over ADR's. I won't even let myself look at the appetizers anymore because that's what I want and I don't want to keep adding money to my trip budget! :rotfl2:

I wish I hadn't known that Kona has the wings and pot stickers from O'Hana (my favorite two things) as apps....although better to be prepared now and bring the extra cash that I'll inevitably spend :rotfl:

Those are the same potstickers!?! :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: :yay:

I didn't know that!! We loved the potstickers, I am so freaking excited about Ohana now!!

I've picked off the menus what I want to eat for april already. I know I won't change my mind. I'm that stubborn!

Here's an idea I came up with about the appetizers. I say order them because they are the perfect Disney souvenir for people who already have a ton of Disney souvenirs and here's how.

1)Take a picture (maybe with both cameras just to make sure you've got the picture and don't forget to take a picture of the waiter if he happens to be cute!)
2)You eat a bite or two and commit the taste, smell and texture to memory.
3)When you get home make the picture into a t-shirt or some other craft project and Voila you have a personalized Disney souvenir!
:thumbsup2

They aren't technically the same as O'Hana's were pork I think. But similar enough to make me want them!

HMMM. A scrapbook of food porn. I hadn't thought of that before. I suppose it could be done. And when I'm old and have alzheimers I'll wonder...why did I make a scrapbook of appetizers??? And DD will remind me..."because mom you didn't want another t-shirt/shot glass remember???" :rotfl2:
