Santa Claus is Coming to Town.... AND SO ARE WE! *New: 12/26*

I don't know about the one entree thing but I will say Kona is sooooooo good! If you go there you wont regret it and you will want your own entree. It's that good!

I saw your pictures of Kona in your trip report and I was drooling over the food! It looks absolutely delicious!

I think I'm going to call today and see if they have any ADR's open for lunch or dinner.

Joining in!

Your DS is adorable. It's so fun that you're going to WDW with your BFF and your kiddos!

Looks like we'll be at Pop at the same time!

I hope 2 people can share one entree at table service restaurants because that's what I intend to do. I think between DH and I, we'll order one appetizer and one dessert. It just gets WAY too expensive otherwise. Not to mention it's too much food!

Thanks so much for joining along!

That's so cool that we'll be at Pop at the same time. Hopefully I see you around! :)

Yeah, I totally agree. My friend and I never eat a 3-course meal. So, we were planning on splitting table service meals; that way, we can try out a few restaurants without breaking the budget!

Ohh I love the new camera...purple is my favorite color. :thumbsup2

I haven't called yet :headache:
I'm going to do it RIGHT NOW and let you know!

I think we're going to make a late lunch ADR, so hopefully they some left.

Okay, so I made an ADR! At Kona Cafe! :thumbsup2

I've been hearing so many good things about it lately, that I just had to.

I was going to make it for our 1st night there, but I figured it was best if I just left that night open without any plans. We'll be arriving around noon on Saturday, give or take a few, and I know that we'll end up being tired that night. (Whether we think so or not! Especially since we're driving down!)

So, I went ahead with Sunday at 12:00pm... as soon as they open! We'll be spending Sunday morning at Magic Kingdom and then we can just take the Monorail over to the Poly!

What do yall think? :)

Help me pick some more restaurants to try out! I was surprised at how many places were open! I just didn't know what to pick and when, so I told the CM that I would have to call back.

So, help a girl out!

Heyy there,

So far i am totally digging you trip report, i recently got back from disney it was fun to be there but sad when we left. Well anyway one or two nights you could get the in room baby sitting service and you could have a girls night out and eat at a "grown up" restaurant like Boma or Artist Point, some must eat at restaurants with the kids are Chef Mickey's its a classic and everyone needs to eat there! Also maybe if Hailey is a Princess fan you could hit Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and I must say if you in a mood for hot dogs there is no need to go further than Casey's Corner, if you in a hamburger/cheeseburger mood then make a stop at Pecos Bill Cafe! Not that you need reservations for those last two, another nice place to stop with the kids is the Garden Grill Restaurant although you are moving in a circle you barely notice until you do notice and then you feel like you are on the outside of an inside joke, but it is all part of the Disney Magic and then you feel like part of the joke :grouphug: Another yummi place would be Ohana's at the Polynesian! Oh My Tonga Toast! and you gotta love the Lilo and Stitch factor all though we all miss Minnie in her Hula Outfit.

Well thats all that I can think of at the moment! Hope I was helpful!

Hey! :) I had time to catch up on everything!! Whew!
Hmm, well I don't know where you want to eat or what your taste buddies are like but I looooooove Crystal Palace.. its a fun time w/all the winnie the pooh characters and the buffets are pretty good!!! a very filling meal!! Although you probably can't share being that it's a buffet! =/ I like the location, the fact that it's in MK.

I have an "Earl of Sandwich" at my Mall, and I know that they have one in DTD ... let me tell you, for 6 bucks a sandwich, they are mighty good! MmMmMm! If you feel like venturing out there one day, that's a really yummy place for a good price.

I'm trying "O'hanas" sp? for the first time!!! We're not going to do a lot of TS b/c it's so expensive and quite honestly, we're totally happy with Pecos Bills at MK and the Electric Umbrella at Epcot. ;)

I also keep hearing about this "Tonga Toast" from several people, and that has become quite the popular breakfast food of choice, so I must jump that bandwagon this go-round! :dance3: :rotfl2:

I'm looking forward to hearing what else everyone has to say!! :yay:

I'm joining in too :goodvibes

I highly recommend Coral Reef...it became my new favorite restaurant during my trip in August and you can easily share a meal there :thumbsup2

Hi Lauren! I just found your PTR. I am another elementary education major. :lmao: I am also going in December (15-20.) I am subscribing.

I'm just like you.. we're content with all of the counter service places, but it's always fun to try out some new restaurants each trip!

I keep hearing about the Tonga Toast, too! It sounds DEELISH!

I'm joining in too :goodvibes

Thanks for joining!

Mmmm, I love Coral Reef! We ate dinner there one night on our 2006 trip. Definately an awesome place!

Hi Katie! Thanks for subbing! I'm loving your pre-trippie, too!

WOOOOO for elementary education majors! :thumbsup2

Sad news. :sad1:

Hailey won't be coming with us anymore to Disney. But that's okay because she'll be spending the week with her Grandma. They'll have a fun GIRLS ONLY week! :)

And now for some good news...

51 DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE! :woohoo:  :cheer2: :woohoo:  :cheer2:

I'm debating on whether or not to get the Dining Plan. I know my trip is coming up soon & I only have a certain amount of time left to add it on, but it's a toughie! It'd be nice to have a sit down dinner every night, but something keeps telling me it'll be easier to not have to worry about that & just eat whenever/wherever. It'll be cheaper, too.

Corrina and I were talking about our trip today and I can tell she's just as excited as I am!
