Santa character appearance?

Does anyone know if Santa Claus makes an appearance anywhere in early December. I have a friend going December 6th and she's hoping to meet Santa somewhere. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks for your help!

He is always at downtown disney by then and sometimes was by the front of the MK. This was always the 2nd or 3rd of Dec.

Definitely Downtown Disney and always during MMVMCP at the front directly across from Tony's Town Square.

He's also at the American Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot. We got a great picture of DD with him and Mrs. Claus last year in early December.
