Hello! A friend and I are taking a girls trip to Santa Barbara in early June and I was wondering if anyone on here had any good recommendations on a place to stay (nothing too lavish but not super cheap either). If it isn't right in SB that is fine, close by is fine.

Or any recommendations on things like stuff to see or places to eat or dine that we shouldn't miss out on. Notes on us: two ladies in their 40's we like a little adventure, relaxing, food of any type, and adult beverages.

Thanks for any help!

Santa Barbara is very beautiful and I went there for the very first time when my dad had a business trip and I didn't think I'd love it but when I saw it was near the ocean Santa Barbara but when I went it was during the winter and it was raining like crazy and when it got too rainy we had to drive home in a rainstorm. The hotel Mom and I stayed in Santa Barbara was called Hotel Mar Monte and it was a really cool place and each room had an ocean view and you will get nice service there and the only troubles we had there was our room lamps needed new lightbulbs but they promised to send someone to change them and also if it rains really bad you might have someone come and check your balcony for flooding because that hotel had troubles with flooding when it rains. But look up Hotel Mar Monte and call to get more info about it because it's a wonderful hotel in Santa Barbara
Hope this info helps and have fun,

We stayed at the Fess Parker Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara and my husband wanted to attend a seminar for business and I'm pretty sure it was at the Ritz Carlton (that tab work picked up). State Street is the place to go for restaurants and shopping.

Stayed at the Harbor House Inn near the water and Sterns Wharf. Huge rooms, some with kitchens, in a great location.

This place looked great but it didn't have any rooms with two beds, definitely need 2 beds. Thanks though.

We’ve stayed at Beachside Inn a few times, primarily for the location — ocean view. Walking distance to Stearns Wharf, the harbor, and State St. We even walked to the zoo (about two miles). It was a Best Western for a time so that gives you an idea of quality.

Check out the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara. Places to eat: Finney’s, Shaloobs, Eureka Burger, Los Agaves, SB Biergarten, tons of great breweries and wineries. The Hotel Californian is a nice stay as well.
