Sanford to WDW Resort - Taxi/shuttle

I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times but I thought I would ask for your recommendations for a private shuttle/taxi from Sanford to WDW Resorts..

I have spent hours looking through all the websites shared on the sanford airport website and I think I have looked too much

There are 2 adults and we only need to go one way as we'll be cruising transatlantic. We could do with a supermarket stop on route.

We have always used a shared shuttle before when we have flown into sanford but we'll be arriving at 9pm and I would like to get there quicker this time.

The only one I can think of (that I have used and know to be reliable) is Mears.

yes, I did look at Mears but I couldn't see anything but a standard Taxi fare from SFB which is ££££

You could probably hire a car cheaper lol!

Certainly that's the case for our next trip and we haven't bothered the last few times.

That is the problem. The trouble is, Sanford is much further out. If you don't want the expense, the only real options are to rent a car and drive yourselves or get a shared shuttle, which can be a pain as you really just want to get to your hotel without having to hang around waiting for others.

I have booked with these guys for my trip in October who are recommended by the PTPD podcast. It's costing me $220.00 both ways from Sanford to POP and includes a supermarket visit.

I haven't used them yet, but it's a family business and I would hope more friendly than Mears.

Not sure what you mean by "more friendly than Mears". I have used them on many occasions and always found them to be perfectly friendly.

I know renting a car would be much cheaper but neither me nor DH are up for that drive after the long flight. we are always too tired to drive safely so we never bother.

Travelled from Sanford many years ago I went to Sanford airport page and looked for taxi options there, read a few reviews and I think the one we chose was Sammys Transportation but I'm not sure if he is still linked there or even still operating. Nice guy and was there at the time organised for the return journey.

We've used Happy Limo's and Quick Silver, Quick Silver was slightly cheaper last time. Both very reliable and I'm sure they offered supermarket stops we just didn't use them.
