Sanford to Disney??

What's the best/cheapest way to get from Sanford? We found cheap flights, but now shuttle costs might end up making it cost the same as MCO. Help!!!

Renting a car. It's an easy drive. Getting a Towncar service will be expensive.....they charge more because it's further to Sanford, and there's just not as much business there. So they will often have an empty car going to or from the airport.

Car rental is your best bet. You could try uber and see those prices too.

Definitely a rental car. Sanford airport code is SFB.
Price out one way rentals from SFB to WDW car car center or another on site rental location. Try Alamo or National.
If you are only in town for a week, sometimes it's cheaper to just keep the car the whole time rather than 2 one way rentals.
Price it out both ways to see what works better for you.

Okay, back to this thread, I checked with Uber drivers in Sanford. They have not run into the legal issue of MCO contract with the Taxi's. I do not know the fee.

The only issue is during peak travel hours you can find a driver, if it's a late night you may not. The Sanford driver would hope while at Disney to pick up a return fare.
