Sanford airport?

I've seen a couple of threads about Sanford. What should I know about them?

Do any of you know the Mears rate for them?

Just cam back from a trip and we flew into Sanford. Nice,small airport. It took us about 20 min. longer to get to Disney from there. Mears does not go to Sanford, I believe a shuttle named All star does. We used a limo service so I am not sure.

I'll call to find out the rates. Thanks for the info on Sanford...now I just need to decide if I willing to risk TransMeridian...

The shuttle company I was thinking of was Coach USA, not all star. I am curious to hear what Mears says.

yeah I'm looking at Coach USA. They're $40 rt ea. Since there's only the two of us, I haven't been able to find a better deal.

I have a feeling that the Mears service is limited.

For the cost of $40 pp you could easily rent a car for one way and return it to the Dolphin or the CCC. The price would work out about the same for a round trip ($40 each way) but you would then be at your own leisure. Stop for a quick bite, do a grocery stop, etc.
