Sanford Airport to Disney World

DH thought he was helping me plan our vacation and booked our flights to the Sanford Airport. I'm very happy we will only have a 10 minute drive to our departing airport vs. the 2 1/2 hour drive to the larger airport. But now I need reliable transportation to Disney that is affordable for a family of four. And he doesn't want to rent a car for the week. I even told him we could rent a car and drop it of same day. Looking for suggestions that people have used in the past.

YOu are looking at $200 plus tip for r/t. Renting a car for an hour trip to WDW is much cheaper.

I'd go with renting a car.

You could either pickup at SFB with Alamo/National and drop at Car Care Center or Dolphin, then do the reverse coming back. You should also price out just keeping it for the round trip. Keeping it may even turn out less expensive than the two one-way rentals.

Book when at a decent price than just keep watching before you leave. Ours went from $485 for 8 days to $303 for a minivan. Well worth it for the week to eat off site, drive to DTD, Walgreens, and even downtown Orlando for a dental emergency.
To tell you the truth, we don't take the buses on site anymore, too cramped at night and hate waiting for one in the morning.

I have done fairly well with National. I have done the membership for their emerald club. Then I go to the KLM website and sign up for their "flying blue" membership (this is free). I then use the KLM code for National 8572130. They are no longer listed as partners but the code still works and comes up on my reservation as a KLM code. Sign in to the emerald club and then replace the code with the KLM code.
