sanford airport Royal Palm lounge

our travel agent is charging £51 for me dw and ds is it worth it

It really depends what you want from it. If you want a peaceful, quiet area to sit and relax in comfort for the last couple of hours of your holiday then yes. If you are expecting a "first class" lounge you will be disappointed. For me , personally, it is worth it, and DH and I will be doing it this year when we go.

We have used it when we fly premium with thompson as it was free.

It was always ideal for us as it had a area with football on tv, a lounge with magazines, papers, free soft drinks and snacks. also has a room with playstations as well.

They have a service bar where u always used to get 2 free drinks with ur wristband, and you can also order food there.

And also if you smoke it has a room there you can go into (which was good for me hehe)

Considering how much of a naff airport Sanford, It is worth it.

We paid for this a couple of years ago, and are getting it free this year.

There are only the 2 of us - and it was our "last" holiday treat.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

I ventured out into the departures lounge to buy a book - and I can only describe the situation as horrific :rotfl:, the heat, kids shouting and running about everywhere, noisy large adult groups, no-where to sit etc, etc.

We usually LOVE airport departure lounges - but definately not this time!

I just wanted to agree with everyone else here...definitely worth it! We used it last year which mean't that DH could watch the World Cup final, I could go on the net and DD11 made friends with two lovely little girls from Scotland! It was a lovely way of rounding off the holiday and so quiet compared to the main departure lounge;)

Hi Guys

I just wanted to jump on this thread - im looknig to book a lounge at MCO (think its a crown) and wondered if there are time limits on these lounges - as there are in the UK - i couldnt find anything on their Ts and Cs
