Dancing sandwiches are my favorites.

Liverwurst and onion on rye doing the Watusi.

I think I prefer a nice sausage sandwich. Only problem is, they get stolen.

It depends. For the choices shown, a Boar’s Head Buffalo Chicken is the only lunch meat I would buy. I don’t like ham, turkey, or roast beef in lunch meat form, but love them all as home-roasted leftover sandwiches. When buying lunch meat, I prefer salami, even though I don’t buy it often.

What age group is involved in the party? A women's group might prefer chicken/celery/red grapes/cashew sandwiches on croissants.

Kids would prefer the PBJ route. Guys would like ham, unless there are religious restrictions.

Well since it's a kid's party I guess. But only because it has mustard on it. No Ketchup, and ABSOLUTELY NO MIRACLE WHIP!!!

Of the OP's choices, I would think the kids would like any of them. I prefer the beef or the ham. I'm not really a fan of lunch meat turkey or chicken. But again, No Miracle Whip.

My mother put that vile stuff on a sandwich once. I slipped it to the dog.

A choice of two meats like turkey and ham would probably give most people enough of an option that everyone could find one of those to their liking. Roast Beef is tricky for sandwiches since it tends to be either rare or well done and everyone has their own preference. Chicken lunch meat tends to be the processed kinds which many adults find unappealing for sandwiches.

All this talk of lunch meat got me thinking about one of my favorite regional delicacies - cold Virginia ham on a dinner roll with French's yellow mustard.

Tastes best when you're on a long hike in Shenandoah NP. Even better with a bag of salt and pepper potato chips. Heaven. Gorp for dessert.

celery, grapes, and cashews don't belong anywhere near a sandwich! Chicken salad should be chicken and mayo, nothing else besides some spices.

Don't forget a veggie option as there are people who can't/don't eat meat like my daughter and often finds herself foodless at gatherings.

I was planning to tell you my favorite sandwich, which is a PB&J (grape J). Then I saw this was for a party. My pick from those choices will always be turkey.

I wouldn't have issue with any of the choices. I would choose 2 choices and not choose 2, but wouldn't walk away if the only choice was the 2 I don't choose (did you follow that? LOL)

I prefer roast beef. I buy roast beef over anything available at the deli. I do like turkey, but will always pick roast beef.

It's quality over the flavor/style that is important. Garbage cheap lunch meat, I don't want any of it. Turkey has a much higher chance of being terrible quality lunchmeat than roast beef typically is.
