Sandwiches at Main Street Bakery?

On our arrival night, we are planning to go into the MK to view Wishes (probably won't get in the park until 7:30 or 8:00). I have two questions?
1st- Is Main Street Bakery open then? On the DIS Menus, it only has snacks and lunch listed.
2nd- Does anyone know what type of sandwiches / desserts are offered (on the Dining Plan), and if they are available at night or only at luch?

The bakery will still be open. I'm not sure about all the sandwiches but there is a great turkey and brie sandwich.

my favorite sandwich the Caprese (fresh tomato, fresh mozzerella and fresh basil) on delicious bread! I have to have it when I go to MK. I'm sure whatever else you order will be just as good though!

Mmmm... that does sound good! Is there some sort of dressing on that, or mayo or anything, or do you put your own on?

for the caprese. I alwasy get balsamic vinagrette on the side.. I don't like bread all soggy. It's heaven

I would NOT count on this. I kept hearing about the sandwiches and we got there (Oct 1/thursday) for dinner and no luck.
The park was opened til 7pm that day.
The MNSSHP was until midnight that night.

We walked in at about 5:30 and were stopped at the door and told it was closed and we couldn't come in and "it will open next Friday". I'm assuming the international cast member meant the next day Friday, but the communication skills were a bit difficult.
But, we did understand that it was closed and we couldn't come in at all...no sandwich for us at 5:30.

I was going to post asking what was up with the mainstreet bakery and a lot of the shops and candy shop closing early. We were at the MNSSHP last year and everything was still open at pushing 1am.

We had an issue this year at DHS too. The park was open for EMH til 10 and they were blocking people from going into shops at 9.
Really seemed odd....I've always shopped at the parks after the rides close in past years.
