SanDisk 2GB Ultra II CompactFlash Card - $24.98 at Staples

Hi everyone! I just picked up a few SanDisk 2GB Ultra II CompactFlash Cards today and I thought they were a good price at $24.98 each. They are on sale at Staples, plus there is a $15 instant coupon that brings the total price to $24.98. I bought mine at Best Buy and did a price match.

I just started looking for new cards, so maybe this isn't a great price, but I was happy! Just wanted to share with my fellow DIS'ers!

I hope you have better luck with them than I did! I had to take two Hitachi microdrives back because they both failed within days of purchasing them. As soon as you hear click, click, click whirrrrr, click, click, click. It's ALL over. I really hope you don't have any trouble with them. You got 8GB for a steal.

And I forgot to mention, I don't even have a camera to use them in yet! I'm pretty confident that I will be buying the XTi soon though. If not, I'll return them.

I have a Magicstore 2.2 that I picked up about 2 years ago also that still works fine. I was using it in my G2, but it was draining my battery pretty quick. You can't go wrong with 8GB for $20. I just paid about $90 for 2- 4GB 266X CF cards.

i saw another post saying the 30+d is due in sept.oct,,,asked for more info but if so it must be cause someone thought you hit the "checkout" button

Oh I am sure the next generation is coming, but that doesn't make the 30D any less of a steller camera.

My guess is the digic III processor, 10mb, the dust shake thing (which from what I hear doesn't do much) and a little better focusing, is what you will see in it. At probably 1500 retail.

But that doesn't make the 30D anyless of a steller camera.
