SanDiego Hotel

I need a good hotel to stay in while we are in Sandiego for five nights, let me know your favourite...

If you want ot stay downtown there are Hyatt, Marriott, Embassy Suits and Hilton near the Convention Center.All are a 15 or so minute walk or less to rhe Gaslamp Quarter. We have stayed at the Hyatt and the Embassy Suites.

I highly recommend the Best Western Hacienda Hotel. It's right in Old Town and the whole feel of the hotel itself fits right into the Old Town scenery. The rooms are beautiful too and the beds are very comfortable. We were able to get a great rate when we stayed there, although the prices tend to fluctuate depending on the night and probably what events are going on.

If that's too pricey, the Best Western Yacht Harbor was also nice. It was right on the harbor near the Midway and Seaport Village and we had a nice room with a view of the harbor.

Don't know when you are going, but the Hilton on W. Mission Bay Drive is really nice. It is over by SeaWorld.

I recommed the Marriott in Old Town SD - nice to walk around in the evenings as well

We stayed at the US Grant. It is beautiful - check out the pics on their site! I called the direct reservation line and got a rate that was way below the published rates - it was so worth it!

I live in San Diego and I would love to stay at the Haciendo! We go to OT allot and the BW 'H' looks so lovely!!!
