Can anyone recommend comfortable (not hard) sandals that have covered toes for the parks?
I live in Australia and in a rural area so will need to buy online - I can't try them on as I don't live anywhere near shops that I can try them on.

I have to have them with covered toes, not open toed.

I've seen some pretty good hiking sandals online but not sure of the comfort level of them.

I don't like wearing my sneakers during the hotter months around the parks.

I have worn crocs in the past but now they seem to give me blisters no matter what style I get so have ruled them out. I'd prefer them to have a strap at the back rather than "flip flop" style.

Another vote for Keens - I especially like the Whispers style, but there are others with covered toes. I get mine from Amazon mostly, but they’re sold by many outdoors or sporting goods stores in the US, hopefully in Australia too.
yes, I tried Amazon but they had none in my size in black, so got them on sale from an outdoor store. AU $129 so hope they're good. I got the whisper ones.

I have four pairs in different colors - I live in Texas, and I wear them for more than six months a year because it’s hot here! My oldest pair must be 12 or more years old, I’ve worn them through many WDW trips, and they’re still intact!

An outlet mall near my home in KY has a Keens store. I prefer the basic Newport HW; thick soles and good arch support. There are mens and womens versions of the same style with equivalent sizes. The women's sizes are narrower than the mens. I've been wearing Keens to the parks forever and love them. They are good for walking miles and miles!

I prefer the Newport also.

Try looking at Earth brand sandals/shoes.

They have some with closed but perforated toes, like the Bronnie and also some with strappy coverings (fisherman style?). The sandals are very comfortable, and they are a bit dressier than many of the alternatives, so they are great for TS dining like the World Showcase.

Their shoes held up pretty well in the rain, but we sprayed all our shoes with waterproofing spray.

Keen sandals really are great, especially in summer when it's rains almost daily in Florida.

Thanks everyone. I got some Keens and they are great. I wore them yesterday and am Impressed.
They weren't as cushioned as I usually like but they were comfy on all day.

Bring on May!!
If it’s hot just keep an eye on your toes. I loved my Keens until my toes swelled up so much in WDW two toes bruised under the nail and I almost lost the nails. It took me a bit to figure it out (lots of WDW trips so it wasn’t just the waking I knew) but I finally realized the “cover” part of the toes of my sandals kinda turned into an oven and roasted my toes when it got really hot. I had the Rose type sandal. (Hopefully it won’t be too hot in May, my incident was during Sept.)
