Will they let me get the bread sampler appetizer on the Deluxe Dining Plan if I'm by myself? It says it is for 2.

I don't know. Usually "appetizer for two" means just that and it has to be split between two guests on DxDP.

I know I couldn't manage to eat a whole bread service on my own, plus an entree and dessert. I've had just the bread service for lunch before.

Yes, I want it as an appetizer. That's one drawback to going solo to Disney! I may not be able to have the appetizers I want since many are stated as for 2.


Sorry, I thought I was in the Dining Plan forum! Thanks to the mod for moving this. I've been reading lots of pages lately as I plan my first trip by myself (and my first trip since 1999)

You'll have to ask them when you arrive if they will allow you to have the bread service as a DxDP appetizer for one person. If your decision to eat there rises and falls on whether or not you will be able to get the bread service covered as an appetizer, I realize that won't help you much.

sarabear - Even if you have to pay out-of-pocket, the bread service is sooooo worth it. I could make a meal on just the Nann and the dips!!!

Can you not just ask for portions for 1 instead of 2?

I've gotten appetizers "for two" before by myself but I've also been told no. It seems to be up to the individual servers.
