Sanaa menus finalized for opening

So as promised, this is a pic of the view from our table at Sanaa yesterday lunchtime:

(I apologize for the HUUUUGENESS of the photo, I tried resizing it but I got totally confused!)

I just wanted to mention, our table was right next to the window - if your table isn't next to the window, you might not see as much of the animals, and I think it might get to be like Coral Reef, where people next to the window find themselves surrounded by other people standing watching! We also only saw these guys once or twice, and maybe a zebra - if you've ever stayed on a Savannah view at AKL you'll know the animals aren't there all the time and I think it would just be timing on whether you saw animals or not.

As I said, I don't want to post pictures and ruin surprises for anyone, but if anyone wants photos, or wants to know what the food was like, you can always PM me if you like! :)

The Indian foods look good. The wine list is a total disappointment (not surprising given the wipe-out in Food and Beverage from the lay-offs). The desserts just look weird -- especially the "Dessert Sampler".

Can't imagine going there rather than Jiko.

Forgive me, but they looked like they had something to say.

Ahhahahhahahaha :rotfl::lmao:

That is just TOO cute!!!

The restaurant sounds intriguing. I love Boma and pretty much all other Asian food, but something about Indian doesn't do it for me. I'll likely give Sanaa a try though. I'm on a mission to try EVERYTHING!

:cloud9::love: Wow! Great pic! I would love that. Can't wait to try this restaurant out in August.
Thanks for sharing your pic.:thumbsup2

That cracked me up!!:lmao:

We can't wait till December to try it. It's always fun to try a new restaurant at WDW. Jiko is one of our favorites so I can't wait to try Sanaa.

I cant seem to find the menu, can anyone help me and lead me in the right direction? TIA Gail:)

Oh my goodness, I'd love to see those giraffes while I was eating but I would hate to have others hovering over me while eating!

I love the remade picture too! That was funny!:lmao:

I am letting DH decide where to eat for our September trip - but I did "suggest" Sanaa to him. I hope he says yes!

Can anyone tell me if there were any major differences between the lunch and dinner menus?

How do you think the view would be at dinner time? If it's dark will you even be able to see the animals?

I'm looking forward to eatig there, I love tandorri chick and I am sure the shrimp will be just as good, I am glad there is something different, I am sick of the same ole same ole, I do that at home> Christmas time I ate at a lot of different places so hopefully September I can do the same. Can wait to here reviews what people are thinking about it:)

LOVE the giraffe commentary! I just made an ADR here for our trip in two weeks! We had a Boma reservation but somehow it was cancelled.:confused3

However, I am now looking forward to eating at Saana. I don't think I have ever tried Indian food but my husband and I are both adventurous eaters! I do hope we have some savannah visitors dining with us too!
