San Pedro Holiday Inn

The Sheraton was sold out on the night I need 6/24 and I booked the Holiday Inn's park and cruise package for $149. Has anyone stayed here and if so how was it! Thanks everybody!

Unfortunalty I don't know anything California expecially about the hotels, but I am going to call Leslie today with the Holiday Inn here at Cocoa Beach and I am just going to ask her if she has a name someone can ask for just in case there are any problems or any questions while out there in California - WOW what an experience it must be for everyone that is going on a cruise leaving out of California - the feeling must be like I felt when I walked into DisneyWorld for the first time in 1971 and walked through Cinderella's castle with 10 kids and I don't know who was more in awe. anyhow if I can find out anything, will post it.

I stayed at this hotel prior to my RCC cruise in 12/03 and it was fine. Nothing special...it's definitely an older hotel...but the rooms were clean and it was just a few minutes from the terminal. For a one night's stay, I think it would work.

There are dozens of us staying there the night before for the August repo...it was close to the port and we are getting in very late at night...so it should be fine for our purposes....

We stayed at the Vagabond Inn next door. The Holiday looked fine; plain, but fine. We ate at a simple seafood place up the street past Rite Aid...very good! It's the place with the fresh fish in the butcher/freezer counter display cases. There's a movie theater 2 miles away. We took a cab over and watched Cinderella Man.
