San Juan questions

Does anyone know, if you have a longgggg layover in San Juan, can you leave the airport and do a little sightseeing? Just grab a cab to a certain area and do some shopping, etc.

It should be easy enough. I would take a self walking tour of Old San Juan or visit El Morro ...or both!

Definitely, go to Old San Juan. Charming narrow cobblestone streets. Lots of shops. That's where I would go. And go to El Morro too. You can walk to all these places after you ride there from the airport.

Just an FYI: Traffic is crazy in San Juan. I would never drive there but you'll be fine in a taxi.
