Our 12/14/19 cruise on the Fantasy stops in San Juan. We are looking for an excursion or something to do for 2 adults and a 20 year old. All ideas welcome! We are open to beach, sightseeing, eco tours. Thank you!!

We did the rainforest trip with Rocaliza Adventure Tours HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

You hike through the rain forest (Bring correct cloths and shoes) then zip line down and have lunch at a home.

AWESOME, they pick you up at the pier.

Avoid the San Juan Family Beach day(SJ47) and Isla Verde Beach Escape(32). We did the first one, but they both go to the same place. The "resort" is a dump!! The beach isn't very nice either. The food was edible but not very tasty. My dd (9 yrs old when we went last year) liked that the beach had a lot of strong waves, so that was the only half way nice thing about it. We paid over $100/pp for adults, our dd was around $90. It was extremely overpriced for what we got, plus we were suppose to get 4 hours of beach time, we got less than 3 hours. I wouldn't have minded paying the price if it had been a nice place, it wasn't. We were just recently at beaches at Tortola and St. Thomas that cost 1/3 of the price and were so much better. If you want to do a beach day, you'd be better off finding one on your own.

Has anyone done any of the scuba excursions? It's hard to tell from the photos I've found if their reefs are any good or if it's better to skip diving there and do some other type of sight seeing.

If you are foodies, the Old San Juan Walk & Taste Tour with Spoon Food Tours is AWESOME!

Lots of great history along with delicious food. The meeting spot is walkable from the cruise port per other guests that took the tour with us in November!

Thank you! This may work well for us!

My 8 year old twins did this zipline in El Yunque. They loved it! https://www.junglequipr.com/zipline-tour/

We booked on our own as we spent several days in Puerto Rico prior to our cruise. We also hiked Mt. Britton in El Yunque the same day.

Our favorite though was a private charter we booked that took us to mutliple different islands...we had Icacos to ourselves for a good two hours before any one else showed up. I'm not sure how timing wise this would work with the cruise, but Cesar was amazing and would accomodate any requests! http://www.vipsnorkeling.com/our-fleet.html
