My daughter and I are planning on spending an extended amount of time in California this summer and I think she would really enjoy one of these camps. I'm having a hard time finding reviews and was wondering if anybody here has experience with this camp? She is going into grade 7 and will be 12. Also I'm undecided whether to register for the day camp or the 5 night overnight one - just looking for any extra info. or experiences.

My ds did a one week day camp about nine years ago. I think he was in grade 2 or3. He loved it. We were on holidays and when I came to pick him up we would have to roam the park going over what he saw that day. Not sure what the camps are like now , tho I would think very similar. He had a blast.
He slept good every night after spending close to 12 hours in the park. When he did the camp we had already been to SD SW dozens of times having had passes for four years. We talked every year of doing a camp again but it just hasn't worked out.
It is also set up so you go in a different parking entrance for drop off and pick up.

Since you'll be there for an extended stay (lucky you) I would recommend getting annual passes. You get a discount on the camp and free parking. I found having our passes that we would go for a few hours everyday then go discover more of SD.

I'm sure she will love every minute of it.
