Any recommendations for local restaurants, not major chains? I know about those and will probably hit some of our favorites anyway.

Wondered about the Corvette Diner?

Any authentic pizza places family friendly? What about Carinos in La Jolla?

Been to Georges at the Cove? Expensive, was it worth it? Nice views?

Just looking for pizza, mexican, italian, diner, american, etc. Basic.

No nightclubs, we will have a young teen with us.

We've always made a point of stopping at Flippi's Pizza Grotto in Little Italy. Great pasta dishes (and inexpensive too).
