San Diego Cruises 2021

I would probably rather have DCL cancel and get my $$ back, since we have another cruise booked in April. We can wait for that one. But if DCL doesn't cancel, maybe we'll move the cruise to something else next year before we hit that 15-day window. We are all vaxxed and fine with restrictions... just not feeling it.
You'll probably have a chance at a refund even if Disney doesn't cancel it--so far, every time they've announced the health and safety protocols for a ship they've had a window that allowed guests a full refund. I wish they'd hurry up and let us know what to expect for the Wonder though.

Yes I'm mostly hoping for that option... I don't really want it to cancel, as I know a lot of people are ready to get on and have a blast.

FYI - if anyone was having trouble getting a slot at Palo's on the 10/31 sailing, two new openings just became available. Plus a cancelled mixology (which has been totally booked). We just moved our 10/31 1BR to a B2B next April for the repo cruise.

We would have been in that with you! I've been stalking the Mojito and Caipirinha, Chocolate and Liqueur, and Tequila and Margarita classes. We had a weird glitch that would show us available time slots, but never let us actually book them. Nothing in the way, no conflicts. We could select them and get all the way through to the final confirm and then it would bug out. All we were able to confirm was the Mixology.

Yeah, we're kinda bummed but doing 9 concierge days together seems better than two 5-days six months apart.

But I also feel your pain about the classes. It seems EVERYTHING was booked from day one on. I have to hope they held back some capacity that we can't see and they'll have some availability at boarding. Wishing you luck getting into the others - those are some of the best onboard entertainment activities!

I just cancelled tequila/marg tasting on the 2n 9/24 cruise if anyone is hunting for that…. 2 people

I've been keeping an eye on the Covid cases in Mexico. It looks like the peak in Baja California Sur (Cabo) occured a while ago, and the cases are dropping. Baja California (Ensenada) is showing signs of peaking now. Sinoloa (Mazatlan) looks to be past its peak, like BCS. Jalisco (Puerto Vallarta) is not looking great right now. But, we've got a month to go and only one cruise is scheduled for PV or Mazatlan.

All of the states of interest have about 47% of the population with at least 1 dose of vaccine, and in the 25% range for fully vaxxed.

I'd bet that we won't get access to Safe Passage until the health and safety protocols for the Wonder are released.

Yep. I think we may be a week away from that announcement. They cannot wait too long as it takes time for stuff to get approved in Safe Passage from what I understand.
