Does anyone know the best deal out there for tickets? We are going early Aug.

Also, any suggestions on good hotels (especially ones for larger families) and good restaurants is much appreciated! Thanks :)

When we went last April, for my sons USAF graduation, he plus 4 get In free to Sea World free. Then for the rest of our group, we actually got an annual pass because it came with one free admission, and a 50% discount for additional tickets. So with a group of us we came out pretty good. Not sure if the annual ticket deal is still avail, but I'd check. Added up and divided by the number of people it was a bargain.

Edit- plus free parking and 20% off food in the park.

We stayed on the Riverwalk at the Omni Mokara, and had family directly across the river walk at the Omni La Maison. We got what we felt was a very good rate. Both very nice. Very accommodating, clean, good food good coffee and super comfy beds. We really enjoyed our week there. Tons of amazing places to eat as well.

Thank you @Branflakes ! I will check out all your suggestions. I am from TX but now live out-of-state and haven't been to SA or Sea World in 20 years. I know so much has changed!

Agree! It makes Disney seem so overpriced. Even though I know the parks are so vastly different. Crazy though how cheap Sea World is!

Seaworld used to be SUPER expensive before black fish. our annual passes were around $400 EACH back in 07. now, it's a joke. you can find seaworld on Groupon most of the time. all that money down the drain.

I wondered how much that movie hurt Sea World's business. Is it busy in the summer? I am guessing since it is so cheap, it must be. I saw on their website that AP holders could buy the dining plan for $99 for the entire year...and eat every three hours...!

NOPE! you would think it would be packed at those rates. All the rides were a walk on last July. no more ski shows 6 times a day. lots of areas in the parks are abandoned. Their water park was pretty busy but I think it's only because employees weren't checking tickets and letting anyone in.
they have this unlimited meal pass that costs $30. Although it's supposed to be one per person, a manager told me corporate told them not to enforce the restrictions. They wanted to keep whatever customers the had left happy.
literally one person in your family buys it and everyone eats for free. I didn't believe it until every single family in front of us only had one wristband. there is no way they are making money.

At this rate, i don't see how Sea world will survive till 2018.
