I think we are going to head to SA for spring break in April. We are going to fly into Houston (flights are much cheaper) and drive over.
Would love to get some ideas on what to do there and where to stay. We are a family of 5 with kids ages 8, 12 & 13. We definitely want to go to the Riverwalk, Six Flags, the Alamo, Sea World, and the Natural Bridge Caverns. Maybe Schlitterbahn and river tubing. But the theme and water parks are only open on weekends so we'll probably have to pick 2 out of the 3. Would love some other ideas on things to do (esp budget friendly) and places to eat.
We'll have at least 6 full days & 2 days of driving to/from Houston.

If you want to stay closer to six flags you'll have lots to choose from but again I like the Drury. They have breakfast and snacks in the afternoon (including alcohol if I am remembering correctly!). We usually eat at different places on the Riverwalk because we visit family and there is a good variety and then they don't have to drive far! I'll try to remember some of the names, the only one I can remember tonight is Dicks!
is only about an hour away. Are you sure there are no cheap flights there?
