We are going to SAI for our first time for our honeymoon. I have always wanted to eat here because I LOVE that pavilion.

Any recommendations of meals to order on the new menu?

On the old menu I thought I would enjoy the Tacos al Carbon or Plato Mexicano, but I don't see anything similar on the new menu. I do not like foods that are drenched in sauce.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

The Plato Mexicano used to be my favorite meal on the dinner menu. I was devastated when they removed it. :sad1:
Last time, I tried the Tacos de Ribeye and thought it was very good. My husband loved the Pollo a las Rajas. He hates onions, but he loved this so much that he didn't even notice the onions.

Where can I find the new menu? Allears still has 2010, and this site has 5/2011...is that the new one?

We are eating there in a few weeks and I think it looks great! Disappointed in the kids dessert options though, vanilla ice cream, that's it? Doesn't even mention if it's still served with a churro.

Haven't been since they updated the menu, but if you like the occassional drink ... we were in love with the margaritas!

I didn't realize the menu had changed. We have an ADR for dinner during our trip in December. We're on the DDP this trip and I may just pay OOP on this meal as a couple of the appetizers look more appealing to me than any of the entrees and I know my bf and I wouldn't be interested in any of the desserts. The combination vegetarian plate does sound yummy though!

DH and I had dinner there last fall. It appears to be the same menu a PP posted a link to: I had the Ribeye Tacos which I enjoyed. There was definitely not sauce on these because I remember putting some of the salsa that was served with the chips on them. DH had the chicken in the cream sauce. This dish had good flavor but was very hot and spicy. I would get the ribeye tacos again, but not the chicken and cream sauce.

Really the best thing we had was the mango margarita.;)

Has anybody had the Tilapia? The description appeals more to me than the rest (I am not really a Mexican food fan, but DH is so if there is something I could at least live with I would try to get an ADR there for our next trip).
