Yes it is true. They are closing in May some time I do not remember the exact day right now but no reopen date has been announce that I have seen.

Our trip is in June this year and SAI is the place my DS19 always picks to eat. I told him yesterday that it was closing in May for rehab and chances are it won't be open in June. He's not real happy. He now has to pick another sit down (each person in our family gets to pick one each trip). His second choice was Teppan Edo but DS16 has already picked that one.

So now he wants to change our trip dates. He's already bummed about SM and TTA being closed during our trip. I reminded him how I "struggled" through a trip when the HM was under rehab, but I survived! Yeah, right buddy! When you pay for the trip, then you can decide when we go!

I'm interested in hearing what they do with the refurb and also hope that they take a look at the menu. I did hear that perhaps they would finally be putting in that tequila bar that has been rumored for a while.
