San Angel Inn or La Hacienda?

Which restaurant has better mexican food the San Angel Inn or La Hacienda? I want to try one of them this year but I can't decide which one. Opinions please!

Anyplace has better food than San Angel IMO. La Hacienda is not bad. The food is kind of rushed out, if you ask me, and could be seasoned and presented better. But it's better than San Angel.

I haven't been to San Angel since they revamped it last year, but we really enjoyed La Hacienda. Just don't count on it for Illuminations viewing!!

Having been to both somewhat recently, I prefer San Angel Inn. That said, I've only been to La Hacienda once and do think it deserves another chance. I thought the food was decent the first time, but everything other than the soup was a little bland for my taste.

I really liked La Hacienda and am looking forward to trying the revamped San Angel. Even if the food isn't SPECTACULAR I do very much enjoy the atmosphere of dining there.

We ate at San Angel in December. I did not care for the food. It was not bad, just not my taste. But I loved the atmosphere and the service was very good. It was beautiful inside. Plus - the margarita was pretty good!
