San Angel in restaurant

I'm sorry to bless you, i don't speak very well English, i want just say thank you , to help me.

I ate there for the first time last week and I thought it was ok..
The atmosphere was amazing, the waitstaff was great. The food was pretty decent. My issue is that the menu is quite limited and the prices seemed really high.

I'm not sure I would eat there again, especially when paying OOP. But it was a good meal, none the less.

No worries:lovestruc I knew what you meant. So people on the boards forget that not everyone speaks perfect english.

I am glad you asked about this restaurant because I was wondering about San angel myself.
I will second the Kona Cafe. My kids loved the desserts they have there and we loved their fish tacos.
Have a wonderful time on your trip.:thumbsup2

Food ok. Atmosphere (the farther away from the "River of Time" you get) is noisy. Tables impossibly close together. Service rushed.

Is the cream sauce spicy on the chicken dish? I'm not big on spicy foods and it seems a lot of the items on the menu are. Also, do they serve chips and salsa before your meal? Would kids like this restaurant?

We love the San Angel Inn its got a lovely atmosphere and the food has always been good. Serivice can be a bit hit or miss, they can be slow but are very polite and when you can get hold of them very helpful.

Not keen on the new deserts as they are not as good as what was on offer before.

The sauce on the chicken is slightly spiced but its not overwhelming.

The chips and salsa you get before your meal and its a big portion of chips.

Kids would enjoy being close to the water so they can watch the people go by.

We were lucky that the band were playing inside due to the weather so that was pretty cool to hear them.

We ate here for the first time for dinner in 12/11. We were a party of 5 adults and I was so hoping and praying we would get a seat by the water (we didn't want to wait for one because the check-in line was insane and there were a lot of people already waiting for tables). We got the most perfect table right by the water. It was so quiet and peaceful. The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was ok, IMO. My brother ranted and raved about how delicious his meal was (I believe he had the Pollo a las Rajas), but the rest of us thought our meals were just ok. My fiance had the steak and I had the tortilla soup and beef tacos (very chewy). I would love to go back again, but I know it'll be awhile because we love so many dining options at Epcot already.

Yes, I have to agree! The beef tacos were chewy! I think it was some sort of steak taco I had gotten but at any rate, it was much chewier than I liked! I thought the Tortilla Soup was wonderful and I would eat there just to get the soup!!!

What do you think about this restaurant?:yay:

They have some good food options. If you have never eaten there, I would definitely eat there!!!! I think the best part for me, is the atmosphere! I love how it's so much like eating outside at a little Mexican town. On the other hand, if you are looking for really good food, try La Hacienda! The food there is much better!!
