Thought it was about time that i started to put up my trip report!
Cast:
Me - Disney fanatic want to start booking up the next trip lol
DBF - Ryan - 2nd trip to disney this year
The Tagalong - my brother stephen - first trip to disney, complete pain in the backside
Monday 7th of July
We headed off at 4.40 am to get the train from salisbury to waterloo, which involved a few games of battleship!!! The first problem of the day came when we made our tube connection because the victoria line wasn't running to Kings Cross, so we had a squished bus trip to st pancras instead!
After checking in we got the 8.37 eurostar direct to the magic
and i was kept entertained with my childrens activity pack hehe!

Looking a bit knackered!!!
We got into a fairly quiet disneyland at about 12.45 and headed straight for the annual passport office, which is where our day started to go a bit wrong. It was fine for me and dbf to get an AP but we weren't allowed to get one for my brother because he's under 18 and needed a signed letter from my parents which i didn't realise so we had to go and buy him a 5 day hopper later in the day. After quite a long wait in the AP office we headed for the rides!!!

We decided to go for the big rollercoasters first so we headed to Space Mountain...which was closed, then we headed to Indiana Jones...which was closed, so we ended up on pirates of the caribbean for our first ride which luckily had a short queue. After this we managed to get on star tours and then headed to the Holiday Inn to check in.
Reception was very slow and check in took forever, however we were all pleasantly surprised when we got to our room and found we'd been upgraded from a standard room where my brother was going to sleep on the sofa bed, to a room with a double and bunks!
We then headed back to the parks and went to the studios, heading straight for tower of terror which only had a 15 minute queue. DBF was looking a bit nervous about going on this but came off laughing!!!! I love this ride!!!!!!!!!

After TOT we headed over to Rock n' Roller coaster, which is my favourite ride (I went on it 25 times over 5 days last year) and got round a couple of times.
We headed back over to the main park at about 5 o'clock where we were able to get on Indiana Jones which had reopened, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, but unfortunately Big Thunder Mountain was shut this time. Dinner was in the Silver Spur steak house where once again i was pleased with the meal and quick service, but not the person who cut infront of us in the queue to get a table (a common theme on this holiday!) After dinner we wandered round the park, going on anything that had a fairly short queue. BTM reopened and we went round on that twice before we left the park at 10.30 (we tried to miss the crush after the parade). We headed back to the hotel to get some sleep for the early start the next day!
