Sam's Club special?

I have read about the Sam's club disney gift card special a few times now (buy 100 gc get the 10 store only card) and wanted to know if this is always a special or sometimes? Is it available now? Considering getting a card but only really worth it if they are doing this special.

My store only has them at Christmas time. Sounds like some others have them year round. Maybe call your store and see if they carry them year round? I was disappointed not to find them at my store, but I am a Sam's Club member anyway so it wasn't too big of a deal!

The Sam's Clubs at which I shop have never had them when I've looked -- holidays or any other time. I buy lots of other stuff there. If that were the only reason you are considering joining, I don't believe joining makes sense.

We joined Sams under the $10 for 10 weeks of summer promotion.

We were able to buy some of the GC's about two weeks ago. We pretty much only joined to get the GC's and also to look at diaper pricing.

I just purchased a handfull at our local Sam's club over the week-end.

Someone previously had posted about going to Wal-Mart and buying a Wal-Mart gift card using your Disney Visa - thus getting the rewards points and then using those purchased Wal-Mart gift cards at Sam's Club to purchase the Disney Gift Card. The Disney gift cards are discounted slightly at Sam's, $98.87 (or there abouts) for a $100.00 gift card plus the $10.00 Disney Store bonus gift card. There is no sales tax on gift cards. This is exactly what we did. I would only purchase the amount you know you can use. Our store still had a considerable supply of them.

I bought the last 8 at my Sams, and haven't seen them restocked in the month since. Bummer! I think they were a holiday thing, since they were a snow-themed card.

The Sam's Club in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan has them, too! I shopped there today on my way to visit my parents for Father's Day. They had a lot and I bought $500 worth. I was psyched!
