Sam's Club in Vero Beach

Anyone gone to the Sam's Club in Vero??? Interested in comments about the quality of their fruits and veggies... also any inexpensive beach umbrellas or chairs available? We're Costco shoppers (but no Costco nearby) and aren't familiar with what Sam's offers....realize we'd have to buy a membership, but if the produce is really good it would be worth it.... thanks

I may be wrong, but I think you can get a day pass, so you don't actually have to join.

I would go tot the SuperWalMart in Sebastian for the umbrella/chairs and groceries ......but stop at Jong's fresh veggie/fruit stand on the west side of Rt. 1 in Sebastian and Hales just a little bit south on the east side of Rt. 1 for the best fresh juice you will EVER have and fruit. (they also have veggies, but Jong's are great!)

Thanks for the info on Jong's -- we'll definitely stop by. Hales is a favorite -- can't get through our week at Vero without their fresh orange and grapefruit juice!!

Will agree that Jongs is good for veggies. There is also the stand under the trees just a bit north of Jongs but on the east side of the road. Publix is right in the same area as well -- Barber St and US Hwy 1. Walmart usually has good chairs, so I wouldn't get a Sam's membership just for your trip. I'll probably be in Sam's within the next week or so, as well as Walmart (if you live in Sebastian, Walmart is the only general big store - Target, etc. are down in Vero). Will keep an eye out for umbrellas, chairs.
