Sam's Club Annual Passes

Has anyone had recent experiences cashing in their Sam's Club APs from a few years ago (2018/2019?) for the out of state Incredi Pass? Any issues now that new AP sales have ceased? Other than maybe not having memory maker included. I want to say these were good until 2030? I wanted to wait until these were the most valuable with several price increases. But the trade off is making sure we can use it. We currently have the Incredipass and instead of renewing this Nov., take a break and start the Sams Club APs at the end of 2023.

I added them to our accounts when I got them. They still show up on our MDE as ready to redeem. I'm saving them to use after another price increase, probably one at a time to use the Memory Maker.

Thanks. So you’d add them to your mde asap if you were me? Does already having incredi-pass impact ability to add them to your account or can you have multiple that are not prioritized. I think we didn’t add them to prevent any accidental use with other tickets that we wanted to use.

I'd just put them in your account. You can have multiple APs in there. Just make sure if you have renewals for you existing ones, that you specify which voucher to use when you activate your renewal at Guest Services. I have DVC renewals and am very careful with what I say to use.

I think in addition to the current expiring APs that we're not sure if we're renewing yet, we have 2 sets of Sams APs. Sounds like the safe thing to do is to have them linked into your account to safeguard from not being able to link them in the future... probably only if existing APs are shuttered too. So are choices are to have all 3 in your account now or 2 dummy accounts. Can you transfer/reassign APs from dummy account into your main account or you have to actually use that dummy account when you're ready to do so? If you have to use the dummy accounts, then I guess 2 separate rather than 1 extra account.

I think I was thinking the last set wouldn't be used until 2030 or whenever they mature and the other set would be between now and then, with a renewal or so, before a break in WDW vacations.

that's weird. I think all 4 of ours are 2030. I guess it would be nice if they were good past 2030, I don't need 2099 since I won't be around, but maybe 2050.

I had one Platinum voucher linked to MDE immediately after I bought it in 2019. It showed expiration of 2030 until Disney changed the AP structure and within the week of the switch it showed as Incredipass with expiration of 2099.
I debated very hard over using it or my 6 day park hopper with a 2030 expiration for my trip last week. Obviously we all want to feel we got the best value. However I knew I could make three trips this year, and I’m not too keen on change, so I redeemed the voucher. I did it at HS guest relations and had no problems with it including photo pass. The CM thought she’d have to do it in a two step process but it went through in one. At least she was vey knowledgeable on what the pass should include.

My platinum used to say 2030, but now says "platinum pass exchange" expires Dec 31,2099. I have it added to a fake person on my account and can transfer it to myself when I'm ready to use it.

I don't think there is any need to have or create separate MDE accounts. Just create another profile on your current MDE (like you would for a child or other family member). Name it with a nickname, initials, middle name or something different than your current profile. Put the unused AP vouchers under the extra profile. You can then easily transfer one to yourself.

Hopefully as we get further and further from issuance of the new Incredipass without photo pass automatically included, that it doesn't become an issue adding it without charge. We have a 6 day ticket too that we're hoarding, but I didn't notice any expiration on it. I sort of planned on not using it for like 50 years. Ok, maybe 20.

this sounds easier, thank you. Maybe we should also be adding the 6 day passes on top of the 2 APs in the nickname profile? If the 2030 date changes to 2099 when linked as a new account or profile, do we feel safe waiting past 2030? These extra sets of APs that matured 2030, was part of my discussion on whether or not to renew my current Incredipass this Nov. I always intended a burst of trips, and then at least a 12 month break without AP that I could pick up again later, accumulate vacation days.

I have 2 Annual Passes that I bought from Sam's back in 2018. Both list as Platinum Pass Exchange with Expiration date of December 31, 2099! I wanted to check prices with the current Annual pass holders discount for Oct - Dec. but it's not letting me. It just takes me to buying an annual pass? I have always been able to see rates when I have had not activated passes before. Anyone else having this issue?
