SAMS Christmas assortment gift cards out

SAMS has out their big display of gift card bundles. Looks like about 5% savings with hopefully...for me...less hassle than Target. I got a 3 pack of Disney $50.00 gift cards for $142 aand some cents. They had a lot of choices!

If that is all you will use, that's great...but if you are going to WDW and think you'll spend more at parks and food there, def get some more!


BUT....make sure...make SURE..you open the packs and call the disney number on the back. Call out all the numbers and make sure the cards are activated! We did not do this in September and ended up with 3 cards that never got activated. It turned into a huge issue and didn't get solved till a month later!

I am not a member of sams, but my brothers is, and could go for me. What forms of payment does Sams take? Could I buy Walmart gift cards to use my Disney visa and earn my 2% there, then use the Walmart gift cards to purchase the Disney gift cards at sams? Would that work?

Yep. I did that last year. In fact, I went one step further. I bought walmart gift cards with my disney visa then went onto ebates and bought sam's club disney gift cards. I think ebates has changed it's policy with cash back for gift cards, but you can at least do what you suggested.

and that is why I NEVER again will buy Disney GC from Target. HUGE hassle with un activiated cards and some that never got fixed. I checked mine immediately upon getting home..and error in my listiing...it should have read I got a bundle of 3 Disney GF for $142...so $150 worth with about an $8 savings.

Disney has a gift card App, to check if the card is activated & balances. Helps to track the GC too. I read if you loose the GC you have the info, Disney will stop use of the GC & issue a new card with the remaining balance.

Sams club/ Walmart GC's and Target GC's can be purchased on Raise.com or Cardpool.com at discounted price. Both sites offer a referral bonus, so you can save a little more. Use Disney VISA for purchase for extra savings.

Sams/Walmart eGCs can be turned into physical GCs, online and consolidate up to 4 cards, to 1. Physical GC will be mailed to your home so you can redeem in store. Target allows you to combine the balance of GC's onto one card through their App. These steps make it easier for purchase. I use these steps when I earn free GCs to these merchants through Swagbucks.

You don't have to use a Sam's cc, thats the discount the bundle always has.

Yes, the gift cards can be used at restaurants.

I have the premier card, so I assumed I was getting 2% at places like walmart and target since I usually buy groceries there. I just google searched b/c I didnt want to share information, and I did find out that Walmart is NOT considered a grocery store by credit card reward standards. So you are right, it would just be 1%! Bummer! But I guess 1% is still better than nothing.

Yes, but I actually just charge everything, including meals, tips, etc. to my room. I then pay off my room balance with the gift cards a day or two before I check out.
