So I'm thinking we will just get a few things along the way visiting the "countries" for our lunch. Is that what you all do? What do you suggest? Like a posticker in China, a brat in Germany, a dessert in France, etc?
It's a great way to go and allows you to sample what the world has to offer. Even if you sit down in Mexico, you can go next door for a pastry in Norway.
when we tried that we got from England to Italy and we were full! LOL After we reached Mexico we were hungry again and took the boat back across the lagoon to Morocco for supper ...
We have ADR at La Hacienda so we'll skip the lunch sampling at Mexico. Any other suggested quick small samplings along the way that I would share with my DH? Definitely have to pace ourselves the whole trip.
My husband loves to try to snack around the World Showcase. Some of our favorites are the cheese plate from Boulangerie Patisserie in France, baklava from Tangierine Cafe in Morocco and I like the pretzel but my husband prefers the Black Forest Cake Roulade from Sommerfest in Germany. Oh! And our new favorite snack spot is Karamell-Küche. The chocolate covered caramel square with sea salt is..
We also like to buy little snacks from all the different countries to take home. A little way of keeping the magic going a little longer.
Yorkshire County Fish Shop for Fish and Chips with a Harps for lunch
I also enjoy Boulangerie Patisserie for the cheese plate with a baugette for lunch or dinner
For snacks: Italy's Gelato Stand, Kringla Bakeri og for a sweet pretzel (which is delicious AND huge!) or School Bread or back to Boulangerie Patisserie for one of their WONDERFUL desserts....
We shared chips and guacamole in the bar in Mexico, then shared egg rolls in china. We had the frozen ice in Japan (which I do not recommend! So many suggested it on here and it was nothing special!) and by then we were not all that hungry. Share what you can because they give you huge portions of everything lol. Pick only the best recommendations hahaha.
