the week up to christmas Dec. 19-24

is this week going to be ok because i am a disney virgin (just

kinding) its my first time and i dont want to miss a thing! so are

the crowds going to be ok and we will be staying at the comfort

suites maingate east anyone been there lately? thanks for the

info and for asking the same ?'s over!

Welcome to the Dis jlb517 The good news is that the week you're going is sure not as busy as the week that follows. I think you'll find moderate crowds that will build each day of your trip. You should plan your trip such that you are experiencing the most heavy traffic attractions first. For instance, I would suggest doing most everything in MK the first day or so of your trip. AK and MGM next and Epcot last. Then you can return to missed or favorite park attractions later during your stay with the idea that you've already done everything that was vital to your trip.

Welcome to the Dis!

We are going this same time - 12/17 to 12/22 and hoping for manageable crowds. We are using Micca's advise and plan on going to MK the first 2-3 days of our trip. I am guessing that the closer to Christmas it gets the worse MK will be. We will end on 12/22 in AK simply because that is the day we fly out at 9 pm and we can still get in a whole day in this park.

As far as things not to miss - Christmas parade and shows at MK, Santa storytellers at Epcot, Candlelight Processional, Epcot Tree Lighting Ceremony, Osborne lights, & Christmas decorations. We have never been during Christmas time and are really looking forward to seeing the World all decorated for Christmas.

The "Must Sees" that I just listed came from all the wonderful disers on this site who have really shared their great December secrets. You will find that they are always willing to answer any question no matter how many times they have been asked.
