Same resort but 2 different reservations: do I need to change rooms?

For my december trip, I made two different room only reservations at Pop Century with two different 3rd party companies.
I booked with expedia for the first 11 nights followed by another booking with a differents company for the last 3 nights (in case you're wondering why: expedia was incredibly cheap for the first part of the trip but had higher rates for the last 3 nights than the other company...and both were a lot cheaper than booking through disney direct).
For both reservations I do have my disney confirmation number, both ressies are showing on the my disney experience website.

I don't really want to change rooms for those last 3 nights...so what do I do? Is there anywhere I can specify this during the online check-in process for the first 11 nights or do I just ask at the front desk during check-in?
How likely is it that I will have to switch rooms?

Sinde I keep on reading here than many people combine 1 or more nights room only with packages I hope someone can tell me how it works with 2 different ressies for the sames resort. TIA :)

Let them know when you check in the first time that you have a continuing reservation. They will do their best to place you in a room and not move you, but there are no guarantees.

When we stayed at CSR last year we had one night room only water view (was the only thing available) and the rest of the trip we had free dining standard view. The left us in the water view room for the whole trip, which was really nice. It just depends on how busy the resort is at the time.

This :thumbsup2. As mentioned here, there is no guarantee you won't have to move, but the CM will do everything he/she can to keep you in the same room. But definitely mention your continuing reservation at check in. Good luck.

Make sure you have the same type of room reserved for both reservations (e.g., standard room). If you have two different types (e.g., standard view for one and pool view for the other), you are more likely to have to move. As others have said, make sure to have the CM note that you have a continuing reservation when you check-in. Good luck!

I have a continuing reservation for our upcoming trip. I made both reservations directly through WDW. One was a bounceback rate, but that rate was not offered for our first night, so I found a different discount for that night. In any event, the CM who helped me with the reservation suggested that I NOT do on-line check-in. She noted the continuation on my reservation (not sure if you can do that with two different agencies), but said it would be best to do a regular check in and make sure the CM understands that I have two reservations. Again, no guarantees, but they will try.

I've had several continuing reservations in the past and I have yet to have to change rooms. I'm hopeful that luck will continue.
