Same person booked in two rooms - any issues?

Random question that just occurred to me: When we decided to go to WDW in July, the original plan was for all 4 of us (all adults) to stay together in one room. We booked a studio at BLT actually under 2 different reservations (first reservation for July 8-10, second reservation for July 10-12), since part of the cost was being paid with cash and part with DVC points. Again, there are 4 of us listed on this reservation (call us A, B, C & D) and this is the reservation that we used to get all our FP+s lined up, including the all-important Pandora rides. :)

Just over the past couple of weeks, we decided to get another studio for two of us, as we started worrying about being too crowded with 4 adults in one studio at BLT. So, we booked a SSR studio with points for the whole trip (July 8-12) and have just 2 of us (C & D) assigned to that room.

I did not take the 2 SSR people (C & D) off of either of the BLT reservations, as I was worried about doing that somehow affecting our FP+s, since those were the reservations used for 60 day FP+.

But now I started worrying about whether we will have trouble with there being 2 rooms at any given time, both of which appear to be occupied by the same C & D. To the extent it matters, the lead name on the BLT rooms is A and the lead name on the SSR room is C.

Is this going to be a problem?

Thanks for any thoughts!

I have done this twice. You'll have to get them to check your MB at the resort to be sure it's set to open the right door but other than that, we had no issues with charging, tickets (AP in my case) or FP.

Just ask the CM at the resort where each party is staying to be sure each band will open the right door when you arrive. They'll fix it right up

Perfect! Thanks so much!!!

Magic bands could be an issue. Hotel reservation is not linked to fastpass system. You can have c&d removed from blt res without it changing the fastpasses. Fastpass system just checks that a reservation exists at time of booking to determine window. It gives you the longest window available. So if A was booking fastpasses for them and local ap holders E&F then everyone could be booked on fastpasses at 60 days even though E&F are only entitled to book at 30 days.
