Same Disner/different woman going to a Disney Wedding!!!

Well now, I should explain my title...since September of 2009 my life was shaken up & has yet to calm down. I have changed in ways I would have never thought possible, yet I want to be the person I was before again. I still value everything I did before, possibly more! In short, I have had some major obstacles...sexual assault, death of a parent, death of a grandparent, 2car accidents (1 in which I broke my husband's neck), loss of my 18 year job, cancer, 2 major surgeries, husband's loss of long term job....yet, I still LOVE Disney!! That has never changed!!

Now..who am I? I am Roxanne....I had done a TR in 2007 & had the time of my life doing it! I made wonderful friends....Since then we went again in 2008/DH & I took an alone trip in May 2009/we all took a trip in 2010, which was literally booked & go in which I had an injury & we also brought along my best friend to help. Anywho....this will be my 12th trip to WDW & here is a pic of me....the person who used to be an avid planner but is now slacking & hoping this PTR will get me going!!

Next is DH, Steve...this will be his 10th trip....

Here is.....DS1 - Taylor...this is his 6th trip..

And last but not least, DS2 - Matthew...this will be his 4th trip & he is only 4!!

Now....how did this trip come about? I mean, with all of out recent set backs...who would have dreamt of a Disney trip?? Well....thanks to my nephew & his fiance who I referenced in my 2007 TR, we are attending a WEDDING!!

That is correct!! They are getting married in DISNEYWORLD!!!

DH & DS1 is actually in the wedding party, I will be a reader, as it is a catholic ceremony but any reason to go to Disney is a reason to celebrate but this one will be a doozey!!

so...pics are up, now more about the wedding!!

At first they were planning the traditional wedding which they realized was not what they wanted. The bride loved Disney, so did the groom. Which I like to take part in being I brought him on all his trips prior to him & his fiance meeting So what better place than Disney to get married! Did I mention...they got engaged at Disney as well!! Match made in heaven or what!

So...at first I thought I'd get to plan, plan, plan as I always did. But I really didn't have the umph to do it. I kinda got into a major depression the last year or so but you don't wanna hear about that! Well, I got the planning made easy kinda because the bride selected most things for all guests. Has it ups & downs. As I am used to doing things myself, that took a toll to get used to. Had to go thru a travel agent & such. But we are booked at Allstar Movies, & scheduled to leave in less than 3 weeks!!

I guess major things are taken care of. Flight, hotel, tickets (kinda), dates but there is still soooo much I have to push myself into doing. Like day to day plans, purchases, packing, seems like little but its alot! Plus add in cleaning the house I have been letting go a lil too long but I am hoping writing things down will help. So....gonna sprinkle my merrily lil self & hope for the best!

Thought about not writing today but I decided to do so because I saw some lurkers....yep I saw ya...ya can't hide and I think it will help motovate me. Or I am hoping anyway

So, after writing yesterdays entry, I did plan 2 days in the parks

My goal for today is....after getting DS1 off to school, straighetening up the house of what is dragging around & giving it that clean smell....ahhhh then finish up the major cleaning in DH & I's bedroom (which I started a few days back & uhmm Idk what happened ), totally cleaning our bathroom, which is a lil mess right now & picking up a few lingering decorations in our living room. I've been meaning to take those pesky things down but somehow...it always gets pushed back till another day...

My Disney goal for today is to plan another 2 days in the parks & a lil calendar for myself that leads up to the big day! Face it, there is so much to do in the upcoming days that I will loose count of things...like today, I need to go for a follow up visit from having a tooth pulled the days prior to that was a nightmare. My dad is having a heart procedure Friday...a lil pixie dust for that would be appreciated , family is throwing a lil party for the on Saturday, things are about to get really busy!! Plus I need to get hair done & mani/pedi right before we go, the last minute shopping...you know, all that ...so now to get to it
