Same day reservations?

Is it possible to book a reservation for the same day (availability notwithstanding). We will be in Florida on 12/11 - there is the possibility that our initial plans may fall apart and I was thinking it would be a great time to make our first visit home - possible? Every resort except Hilton Head would be in play as well an any room category.

Same day reservations are allowed......but in practical terms, you're not likely to get one. DVC, like all timeshares, works best when you plan well in advance. Meaning, villas tend to book up 7 - 11 months out.

More specifically, your chances of getting a same day reservation in December are virtually nonexistent. December is the peak season for DVC reservations; most villas are booked at 11 months out, and there are loads of people waitlisted (waiting for a cancellation).

I would strongly recommend making alternate plans. Sorry.

Since 12/11 is a Friday night, there is a chance you could find something - so it's worth calling DVC that day if it fits your needs.

As Lynne noted, that is a very busy time at DVC resorts at WDW, so there will not be much available if anything but still worth a phone call.
