Same Day FP+

Last couple trips we have had all our FP arranged - same with this one. I saw FP+ released for SDMT about an hour after it went live so of course there was none available for our trip next week. Our last MK day is 5/28 - does anyone know if the release additional FP+ day of? What time are they released at? And if anyone else is going to do the RD opening day dash to get on?

Current reports are that Disney is no longer releasing additional day-of FP+.
