Same day FP+ success with Presidents Day holiday weekend crowds?

I’m curious if anybody could share what they have experienced with same day availability of FPs during these busy past few days.

Our trip is in less than 3 weeks and I imagine our crowd levels will be similar. I have booked FPs for each headliner we wanted so no worries there... I am just hoping my strategy of using the first 3 FPs by lunch each day pays off with other FP opportunities in the afternoons and evenings.

I know more tier 1 FPs will be tough and I will be looking at the various drop windows when they happen to see if we can score one, but what about tier 2 day of availability? Or how was overall day of availability in MK this past weekend?

Any current insight is greatly appreciated - thanks!

On Valentine’s Day/Friday I was able to pull an afternoon FEA at Epcot in the afternoon. Wait time of the ride was @70 minutes when we went on. Also saw plenty of Soaring and mission space while refreshing.

I think you will have much more success with same day tier 1 FPs than you might think - with a few exceptions.

I haven't been keeping up with everything lately... what are the current drop windows? I used some last year during spring break and it was almost scary how amazing they worked! LOL

I don't know them offhand but I do know the drop times vary by park (MK has no set times) - there is a thread on TP that has the times and any updates to them I have been keeping up with.

I plan on putting pop up calendar reminders in my phone prior to the trip with the times to try. It'll be fun playing FP roulette regardless!

AK - 11.01, 1.01, 3.01, 5.01
HS - 9.31, 12.01, 2.31
EP - 11.31, 1.31, 3.31
MK - no specific drop times
