We are going in early November with DH's extended family. MIL is in her 70's and has a difficult time walking long distances - she really needs both knees replaced. I talked to DH about getting her an ECV and everyone (DH, I, MIL) agrees that she needs one.
DH wants to just rent her an ECV every morning when we get to the theme park for the day. He feels that dealing with an ECV back and forth to the resort is a pain in the petunias.
I just read that you cannot reserve an ECV at a theme park and must get there early to get one. I'll be honest - the in-laws are NOT going to be up and moving that early.
Can anyone speak to how quickly the ECVs rented from the theme parks run out in the mornings? Are we running a risk at not being able to get her one?
Any advice or pros and cons to renting an ECV from an outside company and having it delivered to the resort? This is new territory to us. Thanks.
