See my edited post above with info. The cutest thing was in 2006 when we took a family trip to WDW. It was my grandma's 1st time there and her sister who lives in Florida met all of us for a couple of days. They had a race down main street one night when we were leaving the park. They almost ran my cousin over who was the official doing the countdown, "ready, set, go!" I have a picture of him leaping out of the way as they took off

I started our Disney Honeymoon Registry today!! I am trying very hard not to add anything until dave is with me... so I am editing our Crate and Barrel Registry in the meantime lol!

We asked our wedding planner for a wheelchair for my DH's dad for the day of the wedding. They had one for us (free of charge) the day of the wedding. When the limo picked up his dad the morning of the wedding there was one in the trunk of the limo. He used it for the ceremony and then they put it back in the trunk after the ceremony and then used it to bring him over to the reception. We also asked our planner to have one at the front of Epcot for our dessert party. DH's dad did not feel well enough to attend our dessert party but one of his cousins has trouble walking so she used it instead.

Check with your planner for day of wedding.

I will call my planner... actually no I won't, I don't have one yet lol, hopefully I will be assigned one this week (then I will call). My DG wants a wheelchair for the whole trip becuase she has had knee replacment surgery and can't walk that well (also she has a bad habit of fainting at weddings, so far she has fainted at 6 weddings... I'm a bit nervous about this lol)

Are you still coming to DTD on the 30th for a snack Linda?? Hopfully our paths will cross while we are on vacation

We arrive in Disney on 3/26 and will be there through 4/4. Are you guys meeting on Sunday or Monday at DTD. Sunday should be fine, Monday 3/30 is DH's birthday and we might have dinner plans. Let me know what you guys are up to. I will PM you my cell phone so we can get in touch while we are down there. I will probably not have internet access in Florida. We are staying at DH's dad's house and his service is so SLOW I do not even bother going on.

I just got a wonderful phone call from the 407 area code (I always answer this area code when it comes up lol). It was Marion Stewart my wedding planner! She called to introduce herself and her assistant Jennifer, and explain how everything works from here on out. I am very excited to finally have a planner... it somehow feels more real now .

She said she would be sending me out a packet with a questionire to send back, so I will check my inbox for it in the next few days . Did anyone else have Marion/Jennifer as their planning duo?

She made me feel very comfortable, and seemed to understand my level of excitment rising 10 points when I found out who was calling lol! . I just may make it through this planning process yet!

That is brilliant Sam You must have been so super excited! I'm really glad that Marion is lovely I think it's important to get along with you're planner (I love mine)
