I recently watched a Samantha Brown show where she was touring WDW. In The World Showcase, I think near France...she got a drink that she said was her favorite in all of WDW. I know it had alcohol in it...maybe Grand Marnier?
Did anyone see this show,& know of the drink? Also if you do know...and have had please tell me how you like it (or not). Thanks!

Wow, I just found the name of it in a post further down. I knew I could find the answer here! I will be trying the "Grand Marnier Orange Slushy" on Sunday!:yay:

Hang on, lemme check my TiVo.
Okay, it is called the Grand Marnier Orange Slush. It's yummy but I like the Grey Goose Lemonade Citron Slush from the same place a little better. YUM!

If you are feeling rich, they have a new one. It's a champage and flavored vodka drink (not frozen) Costs a lot, but was good! (And the glass lights up if that helps LOL!)

Yeah - it's called Nuvo, and they charge $15 for a small champane glass-size. My company just recently started selling this, and it is a brand new product. I haven't tasted it myself yet. I saw it displayed at Epcot, and ran over to try it, but the price stopped me.

It is good, sparkling vodka. $15 per glass, the whole bottle is $19.99 at your local liquor store.

The Grand Marnier slushie remains my favorite drink in EPCOT!

I'm thirsty now ... stop making me thirsty -- I am not anywhere near Epcot! :rotfl:

That vodka drink sounds good but $15 - ARG!

Can someone tell me where in Epcot they get this drink? Sounds awesome! :thumbsup2

there is a kiosk in the France pavillion, on the side of the water, I believe it is next to the crepe stand (or it's the same stand?). It's in the vicinity of Chefs de France and the French courtyard/fountain, but across the 'street' so to speak, so it's butting up to the lake.

Enjoy! Can't wait to have my slushie next month! :)

Thanks so much! I can't wait to try one in just a few weeks. I was just telling my DH how much I enjoy learning these little tidbits here at the Dis! Doing something different every time we go is always fun, plus we're staying right over at BC, so I could just walk over, grab a drink, then walk back.

:wizard:

This is the name of the stand: Les Vins des Chefs de France
Drink Price: $7

Does anyone know the ingredients other than the obvious (Grand Marnier)?

It was yummy!

I had one while people watching a few weeks ago. It was so tasty and refreshing that I had another..... hic..... :rolleyes1

I went to the kiosk and asked for Samantha Brown's favorite drink. The guy looked at me like I had two heads:laughing: He was no fun at all! I liked the drink but it was so hot that day that it got too liquidy too fast:headache: I like to sip and walk.

The Grey Goose slushie is my fav. It's like lemonade w/ a kick! They sure go down smooth :)
