In 1973 when I was 6-years old my Great Aunt took me and my sister to Walt Disney World. The only thing I really remember is the trip through the haunted house, but that was my first visit. My parents just sold their house and are parceling out stuff to my brother, sister and me. My mom presented me with a set of salt and pepper shakers that my sister and I gave her as a souvenier from our trip. They are bell shaped and have a gold band painted along the bottom. The top, where one would hold the shaker is also painted gold. One shaker has Tinkerbell on it, the other has the castle.
The strange thing is they say 'Disneyland,' not Disney World. No one in my family has been to Disneyland. I'm interested in learning about these shakers. Is it possible that Disney was selling these shakers on both coasts back then? Is there a reference book I can check to learn more about the shakers?
